Junior Electronics Consultant Engineer

We offer high-calibre, multidisciplinary engineering expertise to clients in the healthcare market, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical device sectors. Example projects include developing Brain Computer Interfaces (BCI), designing an In-Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) device for breast cancer detection from concept to industrialisation, developing a drug delivery device with integrated electronics for patient health monitoring, commissioning biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment with industrial automation systems, and creating innovative healthcare solutions such as wearable embedded systems.


We are looking for a junior electronics consultant engineer who is highly motivated to contribute to

projects alongside our Medical team! 

Key Responsibilities


  • Design and develop custom hardware using CAE/CAD tools such as Altium or KiCad.
  • Develop and integrate custom electronics and embedded firmware/software for medical devices
  • Participate in all stages of the research, design, and development process, from initial concept and prototyping to production and testing.
  • Design, prototype, and “debug” electronic PCBs and subsystems
  • Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 13485, ISO 60601, and ISO 62304.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to an environment that fosters innovation and excellence.

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in embedded hardware development, preferably using Altium or KiCad.
  • Experience in developing embedded firmware/software in C.
  • Experience in Git for version control is highly valuated.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in debugging and troubleshooting software.
  • Passion for medical technology and its impact on transforming lives, with a conscientious and driven mindset.
  • Responsible, results-oriented, and professionally ambitious.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Barcelona.
  • Proficient in English, with strong communication skills
